LIVING TO ADD VALUE TO THE LIVES OF OTHERS

Do you know why you were born and are alive today? The main purpose of every person’s life is to be useful to someone else. Anyone who lives only for themselves will never be truly happy or successful in life.

Life was given to you so that you could share it with others. At the beginning of life on earth, God said: “It is not good for man to be alone.” This means that as long as a person is focused only on themselves, life will never truly be good for them.

Consumerism is not God’s way of life!

Jesus taught: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Receiving without giving is a cursed life. Selfishness is a curse. Self-centered people do not live happy and fulfilling lives.

When everything you do is focused only on yourself, you are not fulfilling God’s purpose for your life. If all you think about is: “What can I get?” or “Who will help me?”, then you are living outside of God’s dimension of life.

While studying the subject of the anointing and the person of the Holy Spirit, I realized that the reason God sends the anointing of the Holy Spirit to a believer is so that they can add value to others by presenting Christ to them (Isaiah 61:1–3; Acts 1:8; Acts 10:38).

The anointing is not given for personal “consumption.” The anointing that transforms people’s lives must first be used for serving and saving others. The anointing of the Holy Spirit does not come to people who live thinking only about themselves and what they can receive from God.
