Though trained as medical doctor, I had a strong signal in my spirit that practicing medicine is not the direction I must follow for my life. So, in August 1995, I decided to be alone with Lord by fasting and prayers while studying the Book of Exodus. During that the Lord revealed to me saying: “I have set you aside for my purpose for which I brought you to Ukraine. Now, I am sending you to Ukraine as a prophet to declare all that I shall teach and command you. You are not to debate doctrines but to reveal My power and wisdom through preaching of My Word. Many shall hear you enter into freedom – their wealthy – and they fulfill their God given purpose and potential.”
Right away after that encounter, I courageously began ministry and founded the “World Revival Mission”, a non-church-based organization with three main directions: evangelistic crusades, teaching seminars for all believers and school of ministry to train and raise leaders.
At the end of 1998, I received a strong witness in my spirit that God was about to do something new and that I have to move to the next phase of ministry. I sensed a clear call to separate myself in order to be alone with God and to understand His plans.
During the New Year holidays, I sent my wife and daughter away from Kyiv to stay with friends in another city. And from January 1–7, 1999, I remained alone in our apartment in Kyiv, seeking the face of the Lord through prayer and fasting, following the biblical patterns found in Genesis 32:24–28 and Habakkuk 2:1–4.
During this sacred time, I was led to seek answers to three foundational questions: 1. What is God’s agenda for me and the Church (Body of Christ) in the days ahead? 2. What is the prophetic vision of the Church in the coming twenty-first century? 3. What divine resources are available to the Church in this new season?
From the first to the fifth day, I was caught up in the spiritual realm. The Lord showed me a vision of a great, innumerable, and royal army advancing into a world covered in deep darkness.
This royal army of God (the believers) was the embodiment of light— indescribable and powerful. This army dressed in what I understood as REDEMPTIVE APPAREL, which serves as their source of power and might. Wherever this army went: • darkness fled, • people’s lives were completely transformed, • the transformed people eagerly joined the army, • and the size of the army continually increase without limit.
As I watched these scenes unfolded, I was overwhelmed by the magnificent presence of God and felt as though divine power was being surging through me with a feeling as I will explode. Then I cried out: “Lord, who are they, and what does this mean?”
And the Lord answered: “These are the sons and daughters of God—a generation of believers empowered with divine authority to destroy the works of the devil. Heaven is releasing onto the earth a people, a new generation that has never existed before. This is the beauty of Heaven manifested on earth. I am releasing saviors for the sake of My Kingdom and humanity. They are carriers of solutions and have authority to stop the influence of darkness on the earth. They will fulfill their divine purpose in every sphere of society. They will wipe away tears, set captives free, and bring liberty to humanity. These are the last days—the hour spoken of by My prophets. Multitudes will see this great light and be drawn to it. The Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached to all nations, and they will see the Beloved Son of God.”
Then, a pulse as if to allow the message sink in me: After this revelation, the Lord spoke: “I am sending you to announce and to bring to your generation what you have seen and heard. There is hope. Go, teach, and inspire My people to rise and confront the darkness on the earth. There will be a great victory.”
Then the Lord warned: “Wait, until I show you the time.”
The book “Attention! Kings Are Coming” is a direct and concise fruit of this divine encounter.
