What Do I Believe for My Life in 2026?
A personal declaration of faith and expectations regarding God’s plan for my life in 2026.
GOALS — EVIDENCE OF FAITH EXPECTATIONS
God has given us the breath of life so that we could see a new year. And we thank God for this great gift of life!
However, the breath alone is not enough. Life is what happens to you every day and the continual progress you make. Therefore, you cannot leave your life to chance or destiny. As a believer, you are responsible for choosing what will take place in your life (Romans 14:22–23; Deuteronomy 30:19).
Therefore, the question you must ask yourself before the end of January is this: “What do I believe for my life in 2026?”
To believe means to have expectations according to the revealed Word of God, according to God’s prophetic plan for a specific season and time (Romans 10:14–17; Romans 14:23–25; Hebrews 11:1; Jeremiah 29:11).
What are your faith-motivated goals for 2026? Have you written down your goals? God commanded us to write down our expectations (Habakkuk 2:2–3). When you do not clearly write down your personal expectations and goals, it is disobedience, and therefore sin.
If you have no expectations for this year in alignment with God’s prophetic agenda “NEW ERA — BREAKTHROUGH FRUITFULNESS,” you are living in doubt. And doubt is sin (Romans 14:23).
January is coming to an end. You must know what you want and write down your goals and expectations. Goals and expectations are the changes that must take place in your life this year. Goals represent growth and transformation that must come to you and through you as a result of your obedience of faith.
Spiritual growth — strength, wisdom, faith, and love (Proverbs 24:10; Galatians 4:1; Hebrews 5:12–14; 3 John 1:3–4).
Kingdom-advancing growth goals — whom do you expect to bring to Christ and His Church through your life this year? (Zechariah 8:20–23; John 4:35–36; John 15:16).
Career growth — what are you believing to take place? (Proverbs 4:18). Do you have a goal to develop your career through education and deeper knowledge?
Financial growth — what are your expectations, and what covenant commitments are you willing to take on for financial breakthroughs? (Deuteronomy 8:17–18).
Family life — what transformations do you expect in your personal life that will contribute to building a better family?
If you plan nothing according to God’s prophetic agenda “NEW ERA — BREAKTHROUGH FRUITFULNESS,” you give place to the devil to bring his own events (Ephesians 4:27; James 4:7).
Remember: the adversary seeks those who leave the doors of their lives open to him (1 Peter 5:8; 1 Corinthians 16:9).
-Do not leave your life to fate-
Things do not change because you simply “wish” or “guess a desire.” Like some people do on their birthday, blowing out a candle and making a wish! This is simple naïveté. Life is not “magic”! God is not a magician either. Stop approaching life mystically and start looking at it truthfully and practically. Spiritual life is not mysticism!
In 2026, you must make a decision to step away from ordinary life and move into the supernatural! By the way, “Are you truly born again?” (John 3:5–7). If you know and deeply believe in your heart that you are truly born again, then you are a child of God. But if you do not yet have this inner assurance, you can do it right now.
Pray: “Lord, I acknowledge that I am a sinner, conceived in my mother’s womb, and therefore separated from You from the day of my birth. But now I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for my sins and rose on the third day for my justification and salvation. Today I receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord. From this moment on, I declare that I will follow Jesus as a child of God! Amen!” (Write in the comments as confirmation so that I may pray for you — Pastor Sidney)
Congratulations! You are now a child of God! And you must know this: the children of God are “gods” (Ps. 81:6). Therefore, from now on, decide to live accordingly. God does not leave His life to fate. And you, as a child of God, should not do so either.
Faith in God is a supernatural life, but lived in a practical dimension. Supernatural — because we submit our lives to God’s order, His Word, and the Holy Spirit (John 3:8; John 10:35; Ps. 36:23–24; Rom. 8:14).
What do you believe should happen to you in 2026? Do not wait until “something” happens and then realize that it is not at all what you wanted! Define your future testimony according to God’s guiding word for 2026 (Is. 48:16–18; Job 22:28). Write down your testimonies as expectations and goals. Pray to God that He will show you the steps you need to take (James 1:5).❤️✝️
YOUR GOALS — HIS GOOD WILL ON EARTH
Jesus taught us to pray: “Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matt. 6:10). This is the good news! The will of God is the Word that He reveals for a specific period of time. It is also called the prophetic word. The revealed Word is what God desires to see accomplished on earth, including in the life of a specific person.
The good news is that the will of God is good and perfect (Jer. 29:11; Rom. 12:2). And glory to God — He has revealed to us His good and perfect will for the year 2026!
However, the good and perfect will of God does not come to pass automatically. A person who believes in God’s will must turn it into personal goals and expectations (Job 22:28; Ps. 19:5; Prov. 16:3, 9; Heb. 4:2).
The reason why goal setting is spiritually important and urgent in every time and season is because there exists “the prince of this world” (John 12:31; 2 Cor. 4:4; Eph. 2:2). He fears the real manifestation of God’s will on earth, because where the good and perfect will of God is fulfilled, the Kingdom of God reigns — dominion, success, and victory come there.
We are warned that “the whole world lies in wickedness” (1 John 5:19). Therefore, God’s will must become your goals. Goal setting and clearly defined, written expectations are a way to resist the evil will of the devil and to establish the good will of God on earth as it is in heaven.
Ignorance works against your life and destiny. To live without knowing what God wants for you means to live in darkness. And the devil operates where there is darkness. That is why God declares that lack of knowledge destroys the lives of His people (Hos. 4:6).
If you do not know and define your expectations and do not set goals, you effectively allow the devil to control the situation and deprive yourself of the manifestation of God’s good and perfect will.
January is already coming to an end. Hurry to align your thinking and understanding with God’s prophetic will for 2026 through your goals — through the desires of your heart. (Ps. 37:4–5; Prov. 19:21).❤️✝️
THERE IS A SECRET TO SEEING THE FULFILLMENT OF YOUR GOALS
Life in the Kingdom of God is hidden in a mystery. But to us, the children of God, it is given to know these mysteries (Matt. 13:11; 1 Cor. 2:5–7). Moreover, the assignment of apostles and prophets sent by God is to reveal the mysteries of the Kingdom for the benefit of believers (Eph. 3:2–8).
When setting goals as a child of the Kingdom of God, you must do so with spiritual understanding of the spiritual mystery of the Kingdom of God. Listen: Jesus established and revealed a mystery that changes and transforms life and any destiny. No one will ever truly enjoy God’s support until the standard of this Kingdom mystery operates in all actions and desires.
This mystery is as follows: in everything, first seek the advancement of the Kingdom of God and the establishment of His requirements. When you do this, you place yourself in a favorable and supernatural position where all your other desires and expectations are supernaturally drawn to you without struggle (Matt. 6:31–33).
Everything you need and desire — all goals and expectations — begin to be fulfilled supernaturally in response to practicing this spiritual mystery as a priority.
According to Ps. 101:14–15, the time of God’s favor comes when your heart is turned toward building and growing the Church — the Kingdom of God, of which you are a part.
Therefore, personally for each of us, the first goal for the year 2026 must be the goal of advancing the Kingdom of God. This also includes personal goals and expectations regarding how many people will join the Church through my efforts.
How to do this: According to Zech. 8:20–23; John 15:2,16; John 4:35–36, set a goal to bring 10 people to the Church in 2026:
1. Write down the names of 10 people (friends, acquaintances, coworkers, classmates, or family members) whom you expect to come to Christ this year (John 1:36–42, 45–46).
2. Pray for them daily, specifically mentioning their names before God and asking Him to save them and bring them to your church. (Note: you are not praying for God to “bless” them! God does not bless unbelievers and backsliders—those who are not born again through faith in Jesus. This is an incorrect prayer and not according to God’s will (James 4:2–3; 1 John 5:14–15). The focus of this prayer is salvation through Jesus Christ alone (Acts 4:12).
3. Pray and, in the Name of Jesus, bind the devil so that he does not hinder these people from coming to Christ and to the Church (2 Cor. 4:4).
4. Pray, asking God to send the wind of the Holy Spirit to draw them to the church every Sunday (Num. 11:31).
5. Pray and ask God to send angels of harvest to gather them into the Church (Matt. 13:39–40).
6. Personally invite them and ask them to come to church with you. If needed, arrange to meet somewhere and come together. For those who are online, invite them to your home or help them connect via ZOOM (Luke 14:23).
7. Pray that when they come, they will abide in Christ and in the Church (Gal. 4:19; John 15:2,16).
8. Always thank God that these people are appointed for salvation and called to become members of your church (Jer. 30:19).
THE SECRET OF ABUNDANT LIFE AS A CHILD OF GOD
(ATTENTION: READ THIS SECTION AT LEAST 3 TIMES BEFORE CLOSING THE PAGE!)
God never intended for His children — born-again believers who follow Him and serve Him — to suffer or constantly struggle in this world. For Jesus promised that He came to give us life, and life in abundance (John 10:10b). “Abundance” means everything that makes life glorious and joyful.
However, many Christians religiously follow God, yet suffer from various problems as if they were people separated from God. The reason is that they do not know how to connect to the “abundant life.” This is precisely the “secret” that is revealed in this blog.
As mentioned in the previous blog, the Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of mysteries. These “mysteries” are packaged in the form of covenants. The covenant key to abundant life is hidden in understanding Matthew 6:33 and applying this word in one’s life. So let us uncover this key to abundant life!
Now listen carefully: according to the prophetic Scriptures, we are living in the “last days.” These last days are also called “days of darkness” (Isa. 60:2). That is, days of crises, difficulties, problems, and many challenges in the world. But Jesus says that the believer in the midst of “darkness” is the “light of the world,” and that the believer must shine so that all people who do not know God may come to know Him and glorify His Name (Matt. 5:14–16).
“How then should I, as a believer, shine?”
The answer is found in Daniel 12:3 — the prophetic agenda for the Church and believers of the last days: “Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever” (Dan. 12:3).
The words “shine” and “stars” here speak of abundant life in the midst of crises and problems of this world. This means that God has a supernatural way to make you successful in your work!
Here is the key: in these “last days” of God’s plan, believers who will shine (that is, live an abundant life) are those who have an understanding of the covenant of Matthew 6:33 and, through obedience to this word, lead many people to righteousness in Christ.
Therefore, having a personal goal in 2026 — to bring at least ten people to Christ and help them remain in the Church — becomes a necessary condition for breakthrough fruitfulness in every area of your life!
